How do I start?

You can go to the Google App Store and download the app to your Android phone. A version is coming to the Apple App Store in Fall 2020.

After you enter your basic information you will be able to immediately start using the app with 15 min free of charge.

If you wish to continue using our app then you can easily add more time in the last menu icon to the right.

The best part is that you can use your existing phone.

How do I register with Helen Chat?

When you first install the app you are asked to enter your personal information such as first name, last name and phone number.

A credit card is not required unless you want to later add minutes.

How secure and private is Helen Chat?

Payments are done through a secure independent gateway.

We never see or send any of your personal information to our servers, everything stays in the privacy of your own phone.

Can I call abroad?

Yes, you can make calls to any country that your current phone carrier allows you.

Can I make emergency calls?

We currently do not support emergency calls.

Can I receive calls using Helen Chat?

Yes, you can receive calls using Helen Chat as you do with current Phone app. No need to keep it open on the screen. Please note the receive call minutes apply to overall usage.

Can I save conversations?

No, for privacy reasons you can’t save the conversation.

How do I change the language?

Under Settings tool icon in the top right select “Change Language”.

How much does Helen Chat cost?

Helen Chat is 100% free to download and try for 15 minutes. If you like your experience, we invite you purchase a plan, as shown within the app or through our rates section in our web.

On what devices does Helen Chat work?

Currently any device that support Android 8 (min SDK version 25) or higher. At this moment we don’t support iOS but plan to release a version in Fall 2020.

Why and how do I update the app?

It’s important to have the latest version of software because we are constantly improving the app, adding features and making it more secure. Updates are fully managed by the App Store.

Does Helen Chat work with 3G, 4G, 5G and Wi-Fi?

Yes.

Please note that for 3G,4G and 5G you might incur in carrier data usage charges. Contact your carrier for more information.

How do I cancel my account?
